Ok mike I have to fess up. I was a little scared when I got your email. The last guy I knew who referred to himself as "fish" rode a flatland bike with a jester hat. However, you have yourself a fine, fine lady. In my humble opinion though, ditch the Vittoria EVO's. Don't get me wrong. Those are one of the best tires ever made, but road tires on a cx bike is like putting one of those donut-sized spare tire on a hummer (Not my best work but I'm 3 Macallan shots in). This bike is BEGGING for some Challenge Grifo XS Clinchers.Anyways I'll let Fish give the descriptions here. After all it's his lady!
Hey thought you might enjoy some shots of my new x bike. I had IF make it in steel with upgraded stainless drop outs and custom decal placement. It's "meteorite silver metallic" which is a charcoal color and the black decals keep it super stealthy. Wheels are Phil high-flange 28 hole w/ DT aero blades radial & 2 cross to DT RR1.1 rims. White cranks, Paul brakes, Record levers, and Brooks ti swallow for the ass. Just need Minneapolis to warm up a bit so I can enjoy it.
